It is good to see online ventures in India getting in touch with the ‘offline’ perspective of things by organizing events. Events are the only way you can take networking to the physical world and make it meaningful. Magic Bricks, the online property retail website has managed to pull of a successful event in Delhi. Termed ‘The Property Expo 2012‘ , it was an exclusive event which was organized by the company and was held at the popular Pragati Maidan between 15th and 16th September 2012.
There were reportedly some 40 developers, builders and financiers who were giving the home buyers some good package deals. Somewhere around 7000 property seekers came to the event and availed deals to their liking. The response from both property buyers and developers/builders was good.
The MagicBricks Property attracted property firms like Supertech, Cosmic Structures, Jaipee Associates, Bliss Tree Infracon, Padmanchal Greens, Unnati Forutune Holdings, Genesis Realty Pro, Ahinsha Builders, Imperia Wishfield, Prithvee Propmart, State Bank of India, Sunshine Business Park, Young Planners Realty, Property Passion, Brijasha Constructions, ADI Buildcon, Dream Value Developers , Udai Propmart, Avani Realtech, Aadi Wealth Management, HC Infracity, Paras City Homes, Global Home, Axis Bank, SPN Realty, Aparna Infratech, Future Capital, Sunmile Infrastructures, Property Observer, Sudhir Gensets, Juventus Realtors, Allahabad Bank, Earth Infrastructures, Property Junction, ROI Consulting, Buniyad Retail India, Net Ambit Homewise, Purvanchal Builders, Omaxe Ltd among others.
The event was inaugurated by mayors of both the South and North branches of the Delhi Municipal Corporations.

These offline events seem to be generating a lot of goodwill for the online real estate company. Online companies should definitely look towards organizing events and activities offline so that they can get in touch with as many people as they can. Agreed that this cannot happen everyday, but it would get the company more interactions with potential consumers and would generate goodwill and sales for the brand if these events are held once in a while for their specific businesses.
