The New Hasselblad Lunar Camera
The new Hasselblad Lunar camera is now with Photokina. Even though the information available is that it is still on its prototype mode, the slides that Hasselblad showed seem to indicate it is in a working condition. It is easy to mistake the camera for an improved version of Sony NEX. It seems like the only difference between these two gadgets is the shell but the lenses and the collapsible display on the back are pretty much similar.
If you hold the Lunar camera in your hand, it has this leather grip that is quite interesting. But, the camera is not just limited to leather. There are also those made of carbon fiber and wood too. The other interesting feature of the camera is the metallic knobs that are located at the metal top of it. The camera has an APS-C 24.3 megapixel sensor.
The gadget will retail at 5,000 Euros once launched possibly sometime next year. It is expected that the price may be higher for models made of higher value materials.
