Here is the Japanese based Dospara’s attempt on the ultra book market, it is the Note Galleria SEVENCORE F-5E/77 and as expected it will be Intel powered, have quick starting features as well as being light and thin. The trouble with the Note Galleria SEVENCORE F-5E/77 is not the specs or features as they follow the ultra book rules as put down by Intel, it is the price that starts off at $1,100, which is on the expensive side when compared to other ultrabooks from big brands.
So, with that said there is nothing wrong with what can be found in the specification department like the 14 inch screen with a wide HD LCD glossy display offering a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolutions and a built in 1.3 million pixel web camera. It will be powered by the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and powered by the impressive Intel Core i7-3517U dual core processor with 3.00 GHz L3 when 1.90 GHz TB with up to 4 MB cache. There is support from the Intel HM77 Express Chipset and video will be coming from the Intel HD Graphics 4000 card with built-in CPU.
With 8 GB of PC3-12800 DDR3 SO-DIMM memory, 500 GB hard disk drive (HDD) and the lighter 64 GB solid state drive (SSD) for storage. Networking is covered by the 10 BASE-T, 100 BASE-TX, 1000 BASE-T Wired LAN and the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n Wireless LAN. Other features include the two USB superfast 3.0 ports, HDMI Video output and a handy Multi-Card Reader. This ultra book measures in at 235 mm (D) x 348 mm (W) x 21 mm (H) and it weighs in at just 1.7 kilos with the Lithium-ion battery installed that Dospara claim will offer about 5.5 hours of power.
The Note Galleria SEVENCORE F-5E/77 has a starting price of $1,100, but it could change, as there are optional extras available to buyer at the ordering point.
