Announcing Android™ 4.1 for the DROID RAZR M BY MOTOROLA, now rolling out in phases: moto.ly/41announce
— Motorola Mobility (@Motorola) November 9, 2012
Color us shocked. Motorola, a company that has never been particularly speedy with providing Android updates, has completely bucked their old trend by announcing over the weekend that the recently released DROID RAZR M’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is now rolling out. The tweet by Motorola does note that it will be rolled out (as usual) in batches over the next couple of weeks. But even if you’re on the tail end of the update pool, you have to admit that is mighty fast response for a traditionally not so agile company. We’d say a certain new owner is probably to blame congratulate for the change of pace. We can only hope such speed and attention to updates spreads through Motorola’s Android arsenal (or at least more phones/tablets).
What do you think RAZR M fans?
