The worst part about using devices on-the-go is that they run out of battery just when you are about to hit send on an all important email, or finalize the touches on an impending presentation.
This particular first world problem is all set to be solved by the Phorce, a Kickstarter project. Phorce is the world’s first smart bag, and is designed by Marjin Berk and James Jeffrey. According to the description on its home page, Phorce is powerful enough to charge an iPhone 5 over 8 times, a Galaxy S3 about 6 times, or an iPad Mini 2.5 times.
The bag has a simple design and is built in a manner that allows you to accommodate all your devices – phone, laptop and/or tablet. The laptop holder can hold a 14 inch laptop. The material used in making the bag is such that its inner surface can help ‘clean’ the screen of your touch device and free it of dust, finger-marks, etc. Also, the bag can be carried in three different ways – backpack, messenger, briefcase.
The project is looking for $150,000 in funding, post which it will go into mass-production and be ready for shipping in May 2013, for $199.
