(Before It's News)

When I got my T-Mobile G2 awhile back, a Tmo bloatware app by the name of WiFi Calling, appeared in the app drawer. I had heard about this feature, and as soon as I started utilizing it, I was impressed. A majority of people tend to have signal problems in their homes, which causes dropped calls and spotty conversations. With WiFi Calling, your signal is always perfect and dropped calls were a thing of the past. Battery life improved greatly, since the phone would shut off the mobile signal completely and work on a steady WiFi signal. I remember getting a full 24 hours on my battery one day. It was a magical day for me.

Well it seems that T-Mobile is not going to have WiFi Calling on their Nexus 4. First thing I thought of…flagship Android device that is pure Android so no carrier bloatware. I am thinking that is the main reason for not putting the app pre-installed on the new phone. Does that rule out WiFi Calling in the future? Well we have awesome developers that will most likely work something up for the Nexus 4. It really is not a big deal for most users, but I am a big fan of WiFi Calling. Let us know what you guys think.
