New Species of Spider Named After President Obama

President Obama has already made history, but he now has another outlet where his name will be remembered for decades to come: arachnology textbooks.
Barack Obama now officially has a species of spider named after him. President Obama made an appearance in a Spider-Man comic back in 2008, and this picture of him adorably getting caught in a young Spider-Man’s web is making the rounds, so we can’t think of a better president to bestow his name to an arachnid.
