Cod junkies who were experiencing technical difficulties with the Nuketown 2025 map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 are about to receive another slap to the jaw from Activision and Treyarch. Unbelievably, the 24/7 playlist for the map has been pulled from the game, rendering public matchmaking and experience points on that map unavailable.
“Double XP weekend is official over. That means Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 is as well. I know. RIGHT? Don’t kill the messenger,” Game Design Director David Vonderhaar
tweeted. ”Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 will be back for special events. You can always play it with your friends in Custom Games,” he added.A public outcry is already on the way as players feel cheated by this move since the map was a pre-order bonus they rightfully earned with their cash.
However, Treyarch was listening to the public outcry and decided to bring back the Nuketown 2025 map in a new playlist called “Chaos Moshpit” added to the game’s Bonus category. This was confirmed in a new
tweet from Treyarch studios.
So Activision and Treyarch aren’t completely evil. However, it was still a dick move on their part to remove the original Nuketown 2025 map playlist. But this probably won’t affect the sales of the game which are still rising.
