Looks like folks at Redmond are finally getting the right momentum and have a lot of popular apps trickle into the Windows Phone marketplace. After WhatsApp, it’s now the turn of the oh-so-popular Where’s My Water and Where’s My Perry.
After a lot of reports and rants where the lack of apps on the Windows market was lamented, this should come as a breath of fresh air for users looking to play these popular games on their devices.
For the uninformed, Where’s My Water? is a physics-based puzzle game where you need to get Swampy water to have a bath. The graphics and soundtrack are phenomenal and its a great gaming experience overall. According to Disney the WP8 version has more than 400 puzzles with increasing difficulty.
With more such popular applications coming into the Windows Phone fold, it is a great incentive for new users to make the move to WP8. Another piece of good news for the new OS is the slew of devices slated to be released in the near future. Research has also proved that having devices at varied price-points further improves the reach. All this could only go towards strengthening the appeal for WP8.
Here’s looking forward to many more popular titles and a great new year for WP8!
