(Before It's News)

Indian Small & Medium Companies could soon benefit if the tie-up between Google & Getit gains traction. The search giant along with digital marketing company Getit Infoservices has unveiled ‘DigiGains’, a platform for digital marketing. This platform is presently being aimed solely towards the Smaller companies.

As these SMEs start the need to feel for expansion of business using the online route, Google’s AdWords platform should be the ideal companion feels the company. Indian units involved in core manufacturing like engineering, automotive components, textile machinery and pumps and motors who have credibility & reliability, but lack sufficient exposure to reel in more clients could surely take advantage of DigiGains to ensure their names come up during searches made on Google.

Besides search listings, Google’s AdWords is very adept at cleverly inserting companies’ name & occupation in any context that matches the profile or activities. Companies can bid for the key-words as per their exclusivity & availability. There are many permutations & combinations involved in the usage of these key-words which can get pretty confusing & intricate. DigiGains should simplify the process of opting for key-words which closely match what the SME is doing & still stay within their meager ad-budget.

While Google will offer the AdWords Platform, Getit will provide extensive pan-India reach with its strong field force and will also be involved in complete servicing for the Google AdWords campaign. The company has had ample exposure in the search & ads section. In the past it has successfully navigated the complex Blackberry App World & even worked onclassifieds’ for the iOS ecosystem. This time perhaps, it will focus its attention on the growing Android Platform.

However, this being a B2B endeavor, we won’t expect the come-up to come up with an app. Still, wouldn’t it be an interesting concept to have an app for the SMEs who can decide on the keywords, & deploy them using just their smartphones?
