LAS VEGAS — Plenty of manufacturers have 4K (a.k.a. Ultra HD) TVs here at CES, and plenty also are showing large-size OLED panels. Only one company is combining the two technologies, however, and that’s Sony, who just unveiled the world’s first 4K OLED set.
Big caveat: The TV is just a prototype right now, with no price, release date or even a release year. However, Sony did show at least two prototypes at CES, so it’s well beyond the concept phase.
