Chameleon Launcher Updates to 2.0 Bringing Phone Optimization
Remember when Chameleon Launcher was first just a beta “idea”, and the Chameleon team started a kickstarter to get it into circulation? People were excited for it. Only thing is, it was just meant for tablets. Well today is a bright day in launcher world. Seems that the Chameleon team has decided to release version 2.0, which brings Chameleon Launcher to your phone.
Now do not get too excited. Do not think that you can just go in and download the launcher with no worries. This is specifically for kickstarter backers and pre-order customers. Yeah, you had to dish out some dough to the program in order to enjoy the fruits of this launcher. Added updates include a new and bolder take on the widgets. The widgets now have an overflow button for expanded functionality. Say you have the calendar widget on your homescreen, you can add events just by a single tap. You can now get up to three homescreens on the launcher as well, which is a nice step up from just the one in previous versions.
So if you were a kickstarter backer, or a pre-order customer, go ahead and head into the Play Store to update your tablet, or try it out on your phone. Let us know how it is.
