Over the years we saw some great devices from Asus, and this Taiwanese company has announced its new smartphones, so let’s have a closer look at them.
Asus has announced three ZenFone models, and ZenFone 4 is a 4-inch model that comes with 1.2GHz Intel Z2520 processor. Additional specs include 1GB RAM, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 0.3-megapixel camera for video calls, and support for microSD cards up to 64GB. ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 both come with 1280×720 HD IPS display, 2GHz Intel Z2580 processor, 1GB RAM and 2-megapixel cameras for video calls. As for the differences, ZenFone 5 comes with 8-megapixel rear camera and 2,050mAh battery while the ZenFone 6 comes with 13-megapixel camera and 3,230mAh battery. Also, since there’s a size difference, the 5-inch model weighs 144g while the 6-inch model weighs 200g. As for the software, all three phones will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but we expect to Android 4.4 KitKat update eventually.
Asus ZenFone line sounds great, and although there’s no information regarding the availability, ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 are priced at $99, $149 and $199 respectively.
