Zootilty WildCard: The Flat, Everyday Carry Muli-tool That Fits in Your Wallet
Whether we’re at work or just going out on the town, we all carry some items with us–a wallet, a smartphone or even a pocketknife. If you’re like me, that knife goes everywhere with you, but I must admit, my Benchmade Adamas is a little too big to be classified as EDC (Everyday Carry). For those with the same problem or for those looking to go with something a little different, Zootility Tools may have what you’re looking for.
The ultimate bro-tool?
The Zootility Wildcard, from creator Nate Barr, is a credit card size, stainless-steel multi-tool that comes packed with everything you could possibly need–a partially serrated-edge knife, screwdriver, pry-bar, ruler, and the ever-so-handy bottle opener. At 1.1oz and 2.0mm thick, it’s like a super-thin Swiss Army knife. It also serves as a sort of utility knife, in that it’s blade can be easily removed and replaced using the company’s ingenious ‘patent-pending FlyOff pivot’ that allows you to simply rotate the blade, remove or replace it.
One of the unique features of the Wildcard is the removable blade, which pops off using a FlyOff pivot.
There are other credit card knives on the market (I have a cheap Chinese plastic one), however most are extremely low quality and don’t last very long. Nate, on the other hand, designed the WildCard over a period of two years, with the focus to design an EDC tool that does away with rivets and pins, plus keeps the manufacturing and assembly simple. On top of that, the WildCard will not rust, it’s solid and it’s manufactured in the United States. Those looking to get their hands on one can head over to the WildCard Kickstarter page and pledge $25 or more for the original and $40 for the Kickstarter Edition with laser engraved howling wolf, with an estimated delivery of November 2015.
