Global Reach
We have talked about it many times about the power of radio, however this weekend we practiced our geography and truly had a global reach. Now the amateur radio contesters would laugh at our results, but we were out to enjoy ourselves and talk about the different places we were either listening too or talking with.
Federal Republic of Germany
Scotland
Italy
Argentina
Denmark
Brazil
Reaching out via a long wire and a good radio to those 6 countries plus numerous states here in the Continental US certainly proved to be fun and educational. The ability to communicate and have a global reach is simply amazing and useful.
