We’re back for another Motivation Monday and today’s topic is something I am really passionate about….Our favorite cardio workouts!
I believe no matter how you choose to move your body, you must enjoy it. If you enjoy what you’re doing then you’re more likely to stick with it.
It’s no secret that I’m a Zumba junkie. I love the social aspect of getting together with friends and shaking what our mama’s gave us. I am fortunate enough to be a part of my church’s Zumba class. We pray for each other and it’s a diverse group of ladies. I love the atmosphere and everyone is so welcoming and sweet.
If you join a class, you see some of the same faces over and over. Eventually you end up making some pretty great friends as well. So you’re getting fit and staying happy! What’s not to love?
I burn so many calories at Zumba! You can burn up to 850 an hour dancing! After a class you feel so much more energetic and a whole lot happier.
When I’m not going to Zumba twice a week, I enjoy running with my husband. We are hoping to start using our bikes more as the weather gets warmer now that Caleb’s bigger.
During the summer, you’ll find me swimming laps around the boat for some extra exercise.
