First I know that lots of people hate libertarians because they think they bore everyone all the time but I personally think they are fun and refreshing and likeable. Sort of.
But every “libertarian” I know does this. “Oh, we can´t legislate morality. XYZ is just immoral, we can´t legislate against it. We don´t legislate morality……[time elapse]….What they haven´t broken any laws. So what they have broken no laws, so what they have done is perfectly fine.”
Do you see the circular problem? We can´t legislate morality, but oh, then as long as you are within the bounds of the law, everything you are doing is just fine. So we would live in a completely market based culture, totally consumerist and hedonistic, with no sense of honour or duty. hmmm…
