In these images, we see the Moon in all its splendor, on the phase that was found in the sky on September 3, 2012. 10% of the Moon’s disc was darkened, the shadow reaching to cover almost all Crisium basin, leaving the impression that this is a huge crater, not a basin.

  The images are the result of video processing in Registax program. In the first two, fewer frames were used, only 22, and for the last one, 306 frames were used to be combined in a single image.
