Jane Meredith on Circle Magic and the Landscape

When Australian pagan author Jane Meredith was in London, she gave a talk at Watkins Books about the inspiration for her book Circle of Eight: Creating Magic for Your Place on Earth.

It is about using the energy of the real landscape we live in to create powerful magical circles. She explains how she explored her own local area in Australia to see how the topography reflected the symbolism of the elements. Then she looks at London and how we might interpret the geography of our city – the Thames, the type of soil beneath our feet, our parks and manmade as well as natural landmarks – to tap into their magical power
