Do you really think fisherman Peter wrote words like συσχηματιζόμενοι (syschēmatizomenoi) Strong’s 4964 which Pharisee Paul whom he allegedly praises also exclusively fills his doctrine?!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

(Before It's News)

1 & 2 Peter are rife with language that true apostles Matthew and John ABSOLUTELY NEVER use when bringing the testimony of Jesus Christ

“As OBEDIENT (Strong’s 5218) children, not FASHIONING  (Strong’s 4964) yourselves according to the former lusts in your IGNORANCE (Strong’s 52)” 1Peter 1:14

“For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles OBEDIENT, by word and deed” Romans 15:18

“And be not conformed (FASHIONED, syschematizesthe, Strong’s 4964) to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

“Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the IGNORANCE (Strong’s 52)  that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart” Ephesians 4:18

Would you be shocked to learn that ‘obedience’ and ‘obey’ are used ONLY for Pharisee doctrine, except when the Son of God caused the wind and sea to obey:

  • It would take MONTHS to cover all of the pharisee phavorites that so-called Peter 1 & 2 indulges in…that apostles Matthew and John never use in sharing the eternal words of life:

    • In fact “Peter” is little more than Cliffnotes to Paul’s letters to Timothy…WHERE IS apostle Peter’s eyewitness testimony of walking with the Word made flesh for 3 years and MESSIAH’S wisdom which astounded the world and enraged the Pharisees? Completely missing!

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own LUSTS.
      2 Peter 3:3

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
      4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers LUSTS…………. BLAH BLAH BLAH!! What a waste of paper :!:

      2 Timothy 3

      Same with the “Jude” Cliffnotes:

16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own LUSTS; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly LUSTS.
      …….LUSTS
      ……….LUSTS
      …………..LUSTS!

YYYYYAAAAWWWNNNN! Can’t find a yawn emoticon

  • “1 & 2 Peter are rife with language that true apostles Matthew and John ABSOLUTELY NEVER use when bringing the testimony of Jesus Christ…”

Which is PROOF positive that the author of 1 and 2 Peter is a FRAUD!!! (Not merely that different men have different writing styles.)

“Would you be shocked to learn that ‘obedience’ and ‘obey’ are used ONLY for Pharisee doctrine, except when the Son of God caused the wind and sea to obey…”

And? The Apostle James uses the Greek word πείθεσθαι. That word too is translated into English as ‘obey’. And? Is the concept of obedience foreign to the Gospel? Is it foreign to the Old Testament? Is it foreign to the Torah? Again – different authors employ different writing styles and that *just might* mean they use different words as well. Or would you rather have 27 Books in the New Testament which each said exactly the same thing in the same way? (That would be loads of fun, not to mention profoundly informative, no?)

This picayune objection of yours is of an even lesser caliber than your usual no-account objections to sound biblical teaching.

    • Ah, the ‘James’ Cliffnotes for Pharisee doctrine, same meaningless ‘lust’ talk — when Messiah used that word to indict PHARISEES!

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
      John 8:44

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
      James 1

      • Right-ee-ho.

You know, Isaiah and Ezekiel employed somewhat differing vocabularies in their own Books. I guess in Sharon land, that’s evidence one or the other of them is a lying-ass-dog.

So it goes with your consistency, madam.

        It is found wanting.

    • What the Torah/Old Testament AND Matthew and John consistently say is keep the commandments of YHWH and do the will of the Father in heaven…which Pharisee Paul’s co-conspirators do not!

“Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.”
      2 Timothy 4:11

      /spirit/2016/11/mark-never-says-do-the-will-of-the-father-in-heaven-so-what-is-this-non-hebrew-non-apostle-doing-in-your-bible-2506253.html

      /spirit/2016/10/shocking-that-luke-mark-not-once-say-keep-the-commandments-and-jesus-words-but-matthew-with-john-over-30-times-2506062.html

      • Isn’t it strange then, sharonjorgen, that Mark would quote Jesus (Mark 7:8-9) rebuking the Pharisees for not keeping the commandments?

Or that Luke would describe Zecharia and Elizabeth as observant of all that the Lord commands (Luke 1:5-6) not to mention Luke quoting Jesus (Luke 6:46, 11:28 & 18:20) upholding the same?

Why do you spout such easily disproved BS, is it because you think your readers are stupid, or that they’ll take your word over and above the word of God?

        • It’s because she harbors an abomination within her that she finds roundly rebuked in the Letters of the Apostle Paul.

          • I mean, just look on this page alone how she rails against the condemnation of lust.

            BOLD BOLD LETTERS!!!

            I see you, Ms. Jorgen

        • Mark alters the words of Jesus, so that Pharisee Paul can later say “eat food sacrificed to idols” or ‘whatever you want…just bless that ham sandwich to the glory of God’ — which does not keep the commandment of YHWH!

“There is NOTHING from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.”
          Mark 7:15

Also Mark never reaches the conclusion of the matter regarding the Pharisee criticism of His disciples: “BUT TO EAT WITH UNWASHEN HANDS DEFILETH NOT A MAN”

17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

          Matthew 15

          • “Mark alters the words of Jesus…”

And you know this how, exactly? Do please bear in mind that the Gospel according to Mark was written before the Gospel according to Matthew.

Your quotation of Mark 7:15 with bold added:

“There is NOTHING from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.”

RIGHT!!! Now then, what was this very comment in DIRECT reference to? Was it in reference to all food substances known to Jews and Gentiles? No. It was in DIRECT reference to WASHING OF THE HANDS before eating, which the Pharisees were complaining lacked in His disciples. He answered their objection DIRECTLY, stating as He did. Let Scripture define Scripture, Ms. Jorgen. That way, you will eliminate confusion and save yourself inestimable trouble.

            But you object:

“Also Mark never reaches the conclusion of the matter regarding the Pharisee criticism of His disciples: “BUT TO EAT WITH UNWASHEN HANDS DEFILETH NOT A MAN”…”

Of course he did. There is a thing called proper biblical exegesis, which requires that we seek to previous references in order to determine subject matter. In this case οὐδέν (nothing) is a direct reference to ἀλλὰ κοιναῖς χερσὶν ἐσθίουσιν τὸν ἄρτον (…but with COMMON [κοιναῖς] hands eat the bread… [Mark 7:5]). This passage in Mark is entirely about misapplication of the Ordinances of God. It is NOT about eating unclean foods.

“…just bless that ham sandwich to the glory of God…”

Been down that road with you many times, Ms. Jorgen. You are embellishing. You are inserting meaning into the text of Scripture which is not found in the words as they exist on the pages. The Apostle Paul said nothing of the kind, at any time. Ever.

          • Pharisee Paul:
23 ALL THINGS ARE LAWFUL FOR ME, but all things are not expedient: ALL THINGS ARE LAWFUL FOR ME,…

28 But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

29 Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is MY LIBERTY judged of another man’s conscience?

30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or WHATSOEVER YE DO, do all to the glory of God.

            1 Corinthians 10

          • Ham sandwich with blood drippings if they serve it as your REWARD says Luke 10:7

          • There’s that biblical exegesis we just talked about, Ms. Jorgen.

Follow me, if you will —

Paul wrote: ALL THINGS ARE LAWFUL FOR ME.

Now then, are we to assume by that the apostle meant all things imaginable? Do you presume to tell me that Paul was claiming pederasty or adultery are lawful for him? How about murder, rape, theft or deceit. Am I truly expected to believe that’s what you charge the Apostle Paul with suggesting?

Of course not. Even you are not as careless. (If I may be so bold.) To what, then, are we to limit Paul’s intended meaning? Quite simply, we trace backwards through the verses until we come upon his intended meaning, which he gives us plainly when he writes:

            1 Corinthians 10:18-22

Consider the people of Israel: Do not those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar? Do I mean then that food sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Thusly are we to rightly rightly understand Scripture, Ms. Jorgen — and not merely by inserting our own imaginary meanings into the texts.

          • (…thusly rightly rightly…

            you know what I mean.)

          • Given that those houses were in places that Jesus was about to go (Luke 10:1) and Jesus never traveled far from home what is the likelihood that the apostles would be offered unclean food as opposed to food in accord with Torah especially from them who promoted peace (Luke 10:6) or who were welcoming (Luke 10:8)?

          • Jesus sent His disciples to the LOST sheep of Israel, who had most certainly gone astray in many respects to the commands of YHWH…Including the foods of their captivity — not surprising since they longed for the meals of Egypt during their respite in the desert.

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” Daniel 1:8

          • “Jesus sent His disciples to the LOST sheep of Israel, who had most certainly gone astray in many respects to the commands of YHWH…Including the foods of their captivity — not surprising since they longed for the meals of Egypt during their respite in the desert.”

There is ZERO evidence that the Jews living in Judea at the time of Christ were anything but Torah observant followers of the Law of Moses. There is ZERO evidence in the New Testament that anyone living in the land at that time was in the habit of consuming foods which were contrary to the Torah.

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

And this serves as what? Is this meant to support your argument? This is an example of a Judean who refuses to eat unclean meats, even when in captivity. How on earth is this meant to support your argument that those living in the LAND during the time of the Son of Man were anything but observant of the letter of the Law?

Your argumentation is hopelessly flawed and you have now, twice on this page, tabled points which militate exactly against the ideas for which you advocate.

          • You’re conflating where Jesus sent out the 12 (Luke 9) with where He sent out the 72 (Luke 10), sharonjorgen, which is tantamount to a bare faced lie. That is why Luke chapter 10 begins with “After this…” so as not to confuse the two.

The 12 were sent to the lost sheep of Israel (Matt 10:5) the 72 were sent to where peace was promoted and where they were welcomed where Jesus Himself would soon go.

Will you stop at nothing in your attempt to hide the truth?

          • Mark is NOT AN APOSTLE NOR AN EYEWITNESS, so it is irrelevant if his account was circulated preferentially — Matthew & John are the true testifiers on whom Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit

26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me FROM THE BEGINNING.

            John 15

21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
            John 20

          • This, you have the audacity to say, because the Bible does not convey messages verbatim in all cases — nor does it give the exact same information in the exact same way over and over and over and over…

Please forgive my saying so, but whether you are one indeed (or not), you do argue like a most irrational woman.

        • Compare the words of Luke and Mark to the testimony of apostles Matthew & John:

“Thou knowest the commandments…” Luke 18:20
“Thou knowest the commandments…” Mark 10:19

“if thou wilt enter into life, KEEP the commandments.” Matt 19:17

“If ye KEEP my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have KEPT my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” John 15:10

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Rev 14:12

          • Are these really the lengths to which you will go in order to protect your own beliefs?

A person who can read Mark, Luke or Paul…

…and find in those works ANYTHING other than the Word of God…

…does not have the Spirit of God abiding within them.

            It really is that simple.

          • I mean, here we have, in Mark and Luke, the Messiah telling someone that he knows the commandments. Now MAYBE, just MAYBE the Messiah didn’t use the word KEEP because that word would have been inappropriate to the occasion. Maybe, just MAYBE, He knew what He was talking about when He said THOU KNOWEST…

But you would rather compare two occasions which have nothing to do with one another, and pretend you’ve found something important because the words in those unrelated occasions differ somewhat.

What possible sense does this make, Ms. Jorgen?

            :?: :?: :?:

What POSSIBLE good can come to you from such wanton abuse of Scripture to suit your purposes?

            :?: :?: :?:

          • Semantics, sharonjorgen, supported by hiding context and limiting the argument to an exact word criterion.

In the parable, you referred to, what did the rich man reply when Jesus said he knew the commandments?

Luke 18:21 – “All these I have kept since I was a boy,” he said.

Mark 10: 20 – “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.”

Kept, sharonjorgen, “kept”, now explain that away if you can.

          • But he didn’t keep them. He only thought he did.

That’s why Jesus said thou knowest and not thou keep.

So Ms. Jorgen’s argument doesn’t even rise to the level of a semantical argument…

            …Her argument is just wrong.

        • Pharisees consider themselves observant, but Messiah said they are hypocrites :!:

          • EXACTLY!!!

A Pharisee would say: I KEEP THE LAW!!!

Messiah would say to them: You may KNOW the Law…

…but you do not KEEP the Law.

        • Mayhem finds it strange “that Luke would describe Zecharia and Elizabeth as observant of all that the Lord commands” if this fake apostle were not teaching the doctrine of Jesus to keep the commandments of YHWH :?:

…but apparently being ‘blameless’ does NOT exclude murdering followers of the Way

          5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, BLAMELESS (amemptos, Strong’s 237).

          Philippians 3

“And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord BLAMELESS (amemptoi, Strong’s 237).” Luke 1:6

HOWEVER, like his father the devil, Pharisee Paul gladly accuses the Creator of heaven & earth of producing inferior product using the exact same word

“For if that first covenant had been FAULTLESS (amemptos, Strong’s 237), then should no place have been sought for the second.” Hebrews 8:7

    • SUBMIT/SUBMISSION, an exclusive Pharisee phavorite companion to obey/obedience…that apostles John & Matthew never use because they weren’t disciples of a control freak

      • Your conscience is seared and you’ve been given over to your rebellion.

Your arguments are invalid and are painfully unjust.

You are a false judge and a bearer of false witness.

None of this will end well for you.

  • There are 4 lists of apostles/eyewitnesses who lived with the Word made flesh…NONE of which include Luke or Mark or Paul — whose testimony will you accept?

    2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and JOHN his brother;
    3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and MATTHEW the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

    Matthew 10

That # remains 12 to the end “And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” Rev 21:14

    • “…whose testimony will you accept?”

I will accept the testimony of the Word of God. I will accept the testimony of the synoptic Gospels (they are so-called for good reason) – Matthew, Mark and Luke. I will accept the testimony of the fourth Gospel. And I will accept the testimony of the Apostle Paul and the Pastoral Letters of the New Testament – NONE OF WHICH bears any form of contradiction one to the next, which is not resolved through careful, that is prudent, examination and diligent attention to detail. Your walk is skewed owing to your agenda.

“…and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.”

Judas was replaced. But by whom? Is an apostle chosen via a lottery? Or is not the very definition of the Greek word απόστολος ONE WHO IS SENT. Sent by whom? Sent by Christ. Matthias was not sent by Christ (not that you believe anything written in Acts – which is to your detriment). But Paul was. Therefore, Paul is the 12th Apostle – and you can expect to see Paul’s name engraved on one side of the foundation of New Jerusalem.

      Ms. Jorgen –

Exactly NONE of your objections against Paul or any New Testament Book are supported by anything other than your confused opinions. ALL of your objections are resolved, easily, when the facts of Scripture are considered in the light of New Testament teaching – all of which comes to us directly from the Word of God; none of which comes from our own vain imaginations.

What you have left yourself with by gutting the New Testament of most of its substance, is a sub-standard and utterly inadequate understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your weakened vision of the Gospel is incomplete and, as a result, will NOT result in saving you from the wrath of God. All who accuse the Apostle Paul of deception and criminality do so in gross error and do so to their own injury because they have failed to take time to rightly understand the entire New Testament Narrative of Salvation.

Would that you reconsider the very dangerous position you have taken.

      • Mayhem tried proving that non-apostle Luke brought the doctrine of Messiah to “keep the commandments of God” (as Matthew and John testified) with the following verse:

“But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.”
        Luke 11:28

It says “word of God” — NOT COMMANDMENTS — which according to CS includes the words of a Pharisee that the Council of Nicaea in 325ad forced upon the populous.

CS believes that the budding Roman Catholic Church was a faithful authority in determining what was the Word of God…not surprising since the supreme book of obedience and submission is Pharisee Paul’s epistle to the ROMANS :!:

        • Also from Mayhem, “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” Luke 6:46 which could be doctrine from most any religious leader!

The distinct teaching of the Messiah: ‘keep the commandments of God and do the will of my Father in heaven’ — YHWH

          • Shaz

You are ranting about the apostles to the ancient Judeans. They were destroyed 1950 years past

        • “It says “word of God” — NOT COMMANDMENTS — which according to CS includes the words of a Pharisee that the Council of Nicaea in 325ad forced upon the populous (sic).”

It comes as NO surprise you are as ignorant of church history as most folks. It comes as NO surprise you get your information about such things from the same silly internet sources as the populus. You’re feeding at a tainted trough, Ms. Jorgen. Explore sound historical sources and learn to distinguish truth from nonsense.

“CS believes that the budding Roman Catholic Church was a faithful authority in determining what was the Word of God…”

Yet more false witness from an unsettled mind. Has it ever occurred to you to ASK ME what I believe rather than fumbling your way through this conversation the way you fumble your way through the Scriptures? Are you privy to the operation of my mind? Ask me and I will answer. Don’t presume to tell me what I believe. You will ALWAYS be wrong when you do that.

…not surprising since the supreme book of obedience and submission is Pharisee Paul’s epistle to the ROMANS

          • (Final sentence above should not have posted. It’s a comment I do not feel deserves to be addressed and I meant to delete it — not post it.)

      • A better choice to replace Judas Iscariot’s name engraved on the foundation of the New Jerusalem is the one testified to by Jesus, the Father, John, Matthew and himself: John the baptist!

        Pharisee Paul testified of himself.

Apostle, the Greek word απόστολος ONE WHO IS SENT

“For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I SEND my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.”
        Matthew 11:10

“Behold, I will SEND my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and YHWH, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith YHWH of hosts.”
        Malachi 3:1

6 There was a man SENT from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

        John 1

“Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am SENT before him.”
        John 3:28

        • “John the baptist!”

This, Ms. Jorgen, of all the things you have written in the article above and in the comment section, is easily supportable by Scripture.

The Baptist most certainly does meet the citerion of an apostle.

Who knows… perhaps you are correct about his placement among the 12.

But even if his name is not engraved on the foundations, you are not correct about the Apostle Paul. Paul has testified and he has done so in perfect keeping with the statutes and the ordinances of God. Paul has testified and he has been confirmed by a second witness — and by a third. You reject the testimony and the witnesses. That is your choice. And like all choices, you will be called to answer for it In That Day. What you wouldn’t give then to come back to NOW and do a better job. And yet… here you are…

          • John the baptist has the most credible witnesses imaginable…NONE of which spoke of a Pharisee doing squat for the kingdom of heaven (just the opposite):

YHWH in the torah — zero
Jesus, Word in the flesh — zero
            John the apostle — zero
            Matthew the apostle — zero
            John the baptist — zero

A BIG FAT ZERO TESTIMONY REGARDING PHARISEE SAUL/PAUL or Mark or Luke!

          • Your argument is meant to be meaningful?

You judge the content of the material based on its own merits. You weigh the testimony and the witnesses based upon their own merits.

You have found Mark, Luke, Peter and Paul to be liars.

I submit to you, that will be a very serious problem for you one day.

Your judgment is in error and your witness is false.

          • What argument?! The fact is Pharisee Paul and his co-conspirators have NO credible witnesses unlike John the baptist, Jesus the Messiah, apostle Matthew and apostle John.

cs writes “You judge the content of the material based on its own merit.” — which is precisely what Eve did in the garden when considering the serpent’s argument  to disobey the instructions of YHWH.

          • sharon

Paul held to the doctrine of the Pharisees UNTIL Jesus Christ converted HIM, but some of doctrines of the Pharisees are true such as there is to be a resurrection of the dead which Paul taught and believed as do I.

Christ told His disciples to obey those sitting in the judgment seat of Moses and they were — ALL — Pharisees –BUT not DO as they did because they taught the Law but would not keep it themselves — PAUL kept the Torah as did Christ.

1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

2 Saying, The scribes and the “”"”"Pharisees”"”"” sit in Moses’ seat:

3 —All — therefore whatsoever “”they”"” bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not

can you not read the words of Jesus Christ telling HIS disciples to DO as the PHARISEES tell them to do —-TO DO According to the Torah.

Sharon can you read and believe the words spoken by Jesus Christ that Matthew recorded?

          • Yes, apostle Matthew testifies that the Pharisees are competent to teach the Torah, so that the people will know the law of YHWH in order to keep it…but also “Beware their doctrine!” Pharisee doctrine comes from their Father the devil.

          • sharon

Matthew only recorded the Words of Jesus Christ, Matthew did not make that statement.

Sharon Jesus Christ is telling us the sect of the Pharisees were sitting in the seat of Moses and what ever they tell you is the LAW — DO IT but do not DO AS THEY DO because they do not keep the Law.

The seat of Moses was that of a judge and all judgments must be in accord with the Torah.

The point IS — Paul kept and taught the LAW and you seem to have a problem with that — Christ did not have a problem with any that taught the Torah – the problem is with those that know the Torah but refuse to personally obey it — please show us where Paul was not following not only the letter of the law but the spiritual intent as well.

Sharon I do not believe you can show Paul did not keep the Law and did not teach the Law and if not — you have no argument.

          • Ts we are in agreement regarding Matthew’s testimony that Jesus said the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat; therefore, do the law of YHWH as they instruct…unfortunately you DO NOT take to heart the 36 verses following those three.

Can a murderer have been blameless? :!:

            5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a PHARISEE;

6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, BLAMELESS.

            Philippians 3

If :?: :?: :?: you will believe the Messiah…’blameless pharisee’ is an oxymoron, i.e., lie AND Jesus prophesied “Ye shall NOT see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” — THERFORE NO PAUL CONVERSION!!

4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Where in the Torah is Pharisee Saul’s murderous rage justified :?:

Messiah spoke of Pharisees “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a MURDERER from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a LIAR, and the father of it.”
    John 8:44

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have OMITTED the weightier matters of the law, JUDGMENT, MERCY, AND FAITH: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.”
    Matthew 23:23

The Son of God did NOT leave those weightier matters of the law undone, as did Paul :!:

SO ARE YOU WHITEWASHING PAUL OR BLACKWASHING CHRIST?

I do not believe what I have written on BIN has changed one mind and that includes yours.

We can go back and forth for a month and you will not understand —

You accuse Paul of adding to the 5 Commandment, I see Paul using God’s logic to break it down into find detail. We are to obey our Spiritual Father in all things, are we not to obey our physical father as well? Is that not sound and logical according to the Torah ??

those the Father calls to be immersed into the Body of Christ are to learn how to live by the Torah even down into the fine details. the Torah is the eternal nature of the Family of God and we must become perfect in living according to the 2 great precepts, love god and love neighbor and then down to the fine points of living in concert with those 2.

The conversion of our nature is up to the FATHER and until that change occurs the blindness we all have remains.

Nothing I could possibly present will change your mind, that change is in the Father’s hands.

      • Jesus as God OIT

Post Christian Jews as GODS in

        As per usual

      • Paul’s **family values** are anti-Torah and anti-Christ

“And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.”
        Matthew 4:22

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

        Matthew 10

“For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and MOTHER.”
        Matthew 12:50

        8 And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;

9 Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: FOR THEY HAVE OBSERVED THY WORD, AND KEPT THY COVENANT.

10 They shall teach Jacob THY JUDGMENTS, and Israel THY LAW: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.

11 Bless, Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.

        Deuteronomy 33

“If any man SERVE ME, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also MY SERVANT be: if any man SERVE ME, him will my Father honour.”
        John 12:26

“And every one that hath FORSAKEN houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.”
        Matthew 19:29

        • Sharon you twist the truth to suit your views – period.

“And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.”
          Matthew 4:22

These are men not children! Paul taught children not adults should obey their parents — so I would guess you think 6,8,10,12 year old kids should just tell their parents to stop bothering them??

Without the Father converting a person’s nature they can in no way understand that perfect WAY of God and only a person that is being converted will have that ONE spirit of the Father dwelling in them.
