Location of Sighting: North Suffolk
Date of Sighting: 17th August 2012
Time: 0200hrs
Witness Name: Mr.J. Wilson-Bright
Witness Statement: Mag 1′star’ south of Deneb at 50 degrees above S horizon. Orange white. Looked at Deneb to get bearings – assuming I’d been looking at Altair. When I looked back the ‘star’ was gone! I suspect an irridium flare. Any comments? (It wasn’t Altair)
