Witness Statement: My husband and i were outside having a cup of tea before going to bed when he asked ‘what on earth is that? I looked up to where he was pointing and saw two orange lights moving sideby side towards our house in a south to north direction. Above them was a black shape that seemed to have no reflection and could only be seen as it blocked out the sky behind it. The object seemed to be reasonably low andmoved at a steady speed but not too fast. There was no wind whatsoever as we have a flag in the garden and itwas hanging still throughout. As the object moved overhead the two lights moved apart and then seemed to dance about each other going in differentdirections but never moving more than what seemed like a couple of feet apart. There was no sound at all. We see sky lanterns a lot and this was definetly not one of those. It was lower and behaved completely differently and the black mass above it is inconsistent with a lantern plus the lack of even a slight breeze. We both watched it until it passed out of sight behind the house.
