Witness Statement: It was a very clear morning and I was looking out of the window waiting for a friend to arrive to pick me up when I noticed in the sky what looked like Venus looks like during the day. I thought nothing more of it until I noticed it was moving very slowly south. I then realised that it wasn’t Venus and went to get my binoculars, when I looked at the object through the binoculars to my amazement I could see structure to the object an it was one of its surfaces that was reflecting sunlight that first caught my eye. The object looked like the top part of the lunar module. The object was also projecting two brownish beams downwards towards the ground that looked like jet trails or downwash, the object was moving at a right angle to the projected beams. There were other aircraft in the sky at the time producing vapour trails but these were all pure white and in the direction of travel. In total the object was in view for about 20 minutes.
