Witness Statement: this is my witness statement of a strange sighting i observed on the morning of 2/12/2012 at 7.10am…
i was coming upto the beckinham roundabout in gainsborough, lincolnshire at approx 7.10am when looking ahead i saw a bright light about the size of a beachball, at first i thought it was a bright star (my husband pointed out to me it could have been venus?) but all of a sudden it moved to my left about 70meters way, the speed was phenominal, were it suddenly was at the side of my car (still on the left and still approx 70meters from me) then it started to zigzag and move ahead of me, at some points the light slowed back down to my car again.
all the time i felt it was playing some sort of game.
this happend all the way to walkeringham, i wanted to stop the car but being on my own and a female i thought this might not be a wise idea, this followed me all the way to the old vicarage in walkeringham were it went behind the church, which is were i lost it.
i then turned on to sidsaph road then followed the road onto southmoor road, were upon turning, the light appeard again and was hovering approx 100 meters in front of me and approx 18foot (house height) above me.
i preceded to carry on to my workplace were upon arriving the light was hovering in a adjacent field to my right and seemed to be 70meters and 22degrees to my right.
i immediatly rang my husband at home to tell him and he said hang up and use your phone to video or take a picture, as i tryed to take a picture the light shot away from me at a speed i have not witnesed before in my life, this was so fast it disapeard within a blink of an eye, all the time it was hovering while i was in my car at work i felt i was being watched by the light ball, and suddenly felt unnerved but not scared, which looking back i think was a strange feeling…. this incident lasted from 7.10am till 7.20am
i r.clarke do not drink or do any form of illegal drugs and am not on medication, i am also of sound mind..
