Shooting At MY Mall!
I don't know all the details yet, but the mall where I shop (like, once or twice a year) east of Portland, is on the news right now. A guy dressed in black, tall and slender, wearing a white hockey mask, with an assault rifle, apparently shot some people in the mall. I don't know if they've even arrested him yet. They're evacuating the mall this second, blocked all traffic going in, tons and tons of cops and ambulances.
On live news via helicopter shots I saw at least one body bag coming out of the mall.
Great. Xmas takes yet another dark turn…
[Edit: I just got a phone call from a friend of mine, his wife had just left the mall when the shooting happened, which was at 3:27 pm. She noticed people running out just as she was leaving the parking lot and couldn't figure out what was going on. She was leaving after eating at the food court where the shooting happened. A few minutes later may have been a very different story. My friend was a bit upset at the close call.]
