Location of Sighting: North Shields
Date of Sighting: 20/12/2012
Time: 6 AM
Witness Name: Mick Shotton
Witness Statement: Woke early and could not get back to sleep. I got up at 6 AM and switched the kettle on. I noticed that my kitchen bin needed to be emptied. I went out into my back garden. It was dark and and still outside. I noticed two bright stars in the sky about the size of the north star. If they were the size of a bus, I would say they were a half mile apart, but both were the same height from the ground. As I lifted the bag and opened my wheely bin, I happened to look at these stars again. As I did so, the star on the right of me, suddenly shot up diagonally. As an example, If they were two feet apart, the star would have shot up diagonally about five inches. It did this without acceleration. It moved like a cursor on the computer screen. Motionless then 5000 miles an hour for a fraction of a second. and dead stop without any noticeable deceleration. It stayed in its new position for about five seconds then blinked out like a bulb being turned off. When this happened, only a few seconds passed before an air plane came in to view over my neighbours house. It was so close to the light that I believe this was the reason it blinked out. I have autism and this seems to give me a natural grasp on the laws of physics. What I saw, can not happen at this time of our development and yet it did. I have witnessed ufo sightings several times starting from 12 years old. Even then, I knew I was seeing the impossible
