Witness Statement: On Friday the 29th November 2013, just after midday, I was walking to meet my friend at her house to go and collect some certificates from my old secondary school.
It was a foggy day so the sky looked the same for as far as the eye could see.
I was walking up Elm road in Dartford (which is more like a hill, therefore, you get a really good view of the sky). I was making my way up the road, in a bit of a day dream, when I received a text which regained my attention. I read the text, replied to it and then placed the phone back into my pocket. As I carried on walking I looked up to the sky and I saw a clear (almost white) rounded light ( it wasn’t exceptionally bright but it was very noticeable. It was just one rounded light, it was almost like a retro motorbike light (if I was to hold a 10 pence piece at arms length it would have just about covered the light). It was roughly 20-30 feet above the houses but I could only see the light, nothing else, which I presumed was because it was foggy. The light was there (or I only noticed it) for roughly 6-7 seconds, then it just vanished… completely disappeared.
I understand that it does sound like something out of a Harry potter novel, but it is genuinely what I saw.
