Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC Promotes Jason Horowitz to Partner
UNIONDALE, NY — Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC has announced that the Firm has promoted Jason Horowitz to Partner. He previously served as an Associate of the Firm.
Mr. Horowitz concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning and land use planning, municipal and environmental law, real estate law and transactions and related litigation. He represents municipalities, real estate owners and developers, and individuals in zoning and all related real estate matters.
He is admitted to practice law in New York State and the New York State Supreme Court, Second Department, Appellate Division. He is a member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations, the Long Beach Lawyers Association and is a Liaison of the Young Lawyers Section to the Municipal Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Long Island Real Estate Group and the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Horowitz received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, where he remains an active member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association, and his J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
Mr. Horowitz co-authored a series of case law updates entitled “Current Issues in Land Use and Zoning” for The Nassau Lawyer and wrote various articles in Report From Counsel, the Firm’s biannual newsletter, relating to matters such as the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, statutory construction and non-conforming use law in New York State.
