An undercover TSA agent was able to get through security at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with a handgun during testing of the enhanced-imaging body scanners, according to a high-ranking, inside source at the Transportation Security Administration.
At first, I wasn’t going to post this story. It simply isn’t “news” to me. I’m well aware that the TSA agents are complete idiots. I’m well aware that it’s easy to sneak contraband onto airplanes. Hell, I traveled from Oklahoma City to Houston to New Orleans and back again with an 8″ exacto-blade in the top pocket of my carry-on bag. Did they find it? No. Instead, they discovered my ‘Micro Leatherman’ keychain multi-tool and deemed it a weapon, seizing it because their “mail machine” was broken and I couldn’t mail it home. The TSA are complete fools if they think they are “protecting us.”
But, I continue to see this story on every site I visit, so I’ll post a snippet to reinforce the idea that the TSA are grossly incompetent. Also, I’m incredibly surprised that the drooling neanderthals didn’t find something in a woman’s bra. They certainly fondle them enough according to the reports I hear.
The source said the undercover agent carried a pistol in her undergarments when she put the body scanners to the test. The officer successfully made it through the airport’s body scanners every time she tried, the source said.
The TSA insider who blew the whistle on the test also said that none of the TSA agents who failed to spot the gun on the scanned image were disciplined. The source said the agents continue to work the body scanners today.
The TSA did not deny that the tests took place or the what the results were.
