In case you missed Monday night’s episode of the Bachelor, Nick, in the hopes of finding love, embarked his group date to the “museum of broken relationships”. A rather dismal first date, but the ladies were asked to stage a faux break up with Nick. Instead of finding love, Nick found himself in a battered spouse scenario. Much to Nick’s shock and awe, (as well as all of Bachelor Nation) Josephine hauled off and slugged (bitch slapped) sucker slapped, Nick. The contestant finding her “inner rage” tag line was offensive and coy. The reason we have domestic violence begins with women who emasculate men. I wonder how someone seeking “love” could find it in her loving heart to strike her intended? Even in a role playing TV dating show, violence is never OK. Nick is quoted as “it hurt”. I’m encouraging Nick to take a stand against violence and sue Josephine for domestic violence, first degree. Violence is never ok, slapping men might seem like it’s socially acceptable, but it’s not. Violent tendencies from the start are a red flag gentlemen. If a lady strikes you… get out. She emasculates you…get out. True love is respecting your intended’s boundaries. Love does not include violence, at any level…(unless you both consent and are in a “safe-word” environment.) period
