Russia Considering Asylum For US Whistleblower–Military Contractor Fires Snowden From His

It’s pie in the eye politics as Russian President Vladimir Putin gives Obama the big one. Putin’s allegdly considering giving asylym to Edward Snowden. Snowden, the notorious NSA whistleblower who dropped a dime on some of the spy agencies most notorious US spy activities, is looking for safe haven. And Putin, eager to throw a pie in Obama’s eye, may just oblige him.
According to the Russian newspaper Kommersant, the Russians are considering granting political asylum to Edward Snowden, the NSA whistleblower/traitor. Snowden, a government contractor, revealed the existence of a massive National Security Agency surveillance operation last week.Kommersant daily quoted President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary as saying “If we receive such a request, we will consider it.”
Snowden was previously staying in Hong Kong, where he fled to on May 20, but has since changed his location. more
Snowden is on the run from US authorities and is looking for a place to roost without the long arm of Uncle Sam snatching him back to Guantanoland. He doesn’t consider himself a traitor, but a truth teller. His heroes are people like Daniel Ellsberg and Pfc. Bradley Manning. He believes the American people have a right to kjnow what is being done in their name.
