Major Snowstorm Shaping Up For The Northeast?! It Could Be A Monster??

(Before It's News)

Well, we all knew the potential existed already for a snowstorm by the end of January, if you have been visiting this website you knew. I could be delivering as promised. There’s even a blizzard potential with this storm, with plenty of cold air in place already, it could be a real doozy?

It’s still a little early yet to say for sure though, but the potential is increasing dramatically. We could get hammered late in the week! This storm could affect over 50 million people, heavy snow and wind, and coastal flooding, along with a full moon you know the rest.

I think it’s safe to say, the negative oscillation is doing it’s thing.

Possible East Coast Storm Setup

Accuweather reports: A major winter storm will hit the eastern United States with the potential for heavy snow to impact more than 50 million people at the end of the week.

Areas from Charleston, West Virginia, and Roanoke, Virginia, to Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City and Boston could receive heavy snow from the storm.

New Planet X Nibiru 2016 Planet 7X Timeline

According to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dave Dombek, “We are just now at the point [of the winter] where the air is cold enough with the ongoing storms to awaken a sleeping giant in terms of a snowstorm.”

Unlike most storms so far this winter, this system will have enough cold air to produce snow and disruptions to daily activities in areas of the East that have received little thus far.

The exact track of the storm will hold the key as to which areas in the mid-Atlantic and southern New England are hit with heavy snow, dangerous highway travel and scores of flight delays and cancellations during Friday into Saturday.

The heavy snow with the storm is likely to have a fairly sharp northern edge. At this time, the northern edge of the storm is most likely to extend from southern Ohio to southern New England. A distance of less than 50 miles could bring snowfall ranging from an inch or less to more than a foot.

Storm impacts

If the storm develops to its full potential and takes a track just off the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts, then a blizzard can unfold. The storm could shut down highways and perhaps cause airport closures.

According to AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams, “This could be a long-duration snowfall that could last more than 24 hours in some locations.”

This is also the type of storm that is likely to produce a very heavy rate of snow.

Based on the most likely storm track at this early stage, areas from the Virginia and West Virginia mountains to the major cities from Washington, D.C., to Baltimore and Philadelphia, as well as the suburbs, are included in the swath of heavy snow potential.

The weather channel is saying the risk of an east coast snowstorm is looking increasingly likely now, have to watch this cloesly. The biggest storm of this winter season could be formulating , and as I had mentioned, they too think we could get hammered!

The 5 big Cities in the Northeast need to monitor this one closely, best be fixing to get ready just in case, a little extra food and what not might be a good idea!, theres a hint of a monster possibly on this one?

The Weather Channel is forecasting - The biggest snowstorm of the winter season thus far is increasingly likely to hammer parts of the East late this week into the weekend with heavy snow, high winds and coastal flooding.

The big five cities of the Northeast corridor – Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston – need to pay attention to the forecast this week as a high-impact storm with moderate to heavy snow and strong winds may affect one or more of those metropolitan areas from late Friday into early Sunday.

Here’s what we know and don’t know right now.

Snow This Week: Some Uncertainty Remains

What we know:

It now looks increasingly likely a significant winter storm will take shape starting Thursday and lasting through the weekend. This could deliver high-impact snowfall to parts of the East. Depending on the track, intensity and duration of the storm, we could also see coastal flooding and strong, gusty winds. With a full moon this weekend tides will already be running high, which could worsen the impacts should any coastal flooding occur.

Forecast Highs and Weather

Forecast Highs and Weather

Forecast high temperatures and weather conditions for selected cities from Wednesday, Jan. 20 through Sunday, Jan. 24.

What we don’t know:

Uncertainties remain with the exact track of the storm and how long it will last. All of those factors will dictate impacts at any particular location. It’s looking unlikely that a winter storm will fail to develop at all, but for many locations it’s far from certain what kind of impact this system will have.

Keep this in mind any time that you are checking your weather.com forecast or mobile app since forecast timing and amounts may change from what you see early in the week leading up to a particular storm.

We also do not know the magnitude of any coastal flooding that may develop. In addition, the strength of the winds will determine whether there is the possibility of power outages.

Here’s an outline of this event.

Significant Winter Storm Thursday through Sunday

  • What: After a low-pressure system brings light to moderate snowfall to parts of the Plains, Midwest and Tennessee Valley midweek, a more potent weather system will likely take shape in the Midwest and South late this week in response to upper-level energy pushing into the West Tuesday into Wednesday. Once this energy gets east of the Rockies, it will likely trigger the development of a low-pressure system over the South that may track then track to near or off the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast coasts Friday into the weekend.
  • Where: Snow will initially develop from the central Plains into the Ozarks Thursday. By Thursday night or Friday, snow or a rain/snow mix may impact parts of the Ohio Valley, Tennessee Valley, Appalachians and potentially the Mid-Atlantic. Snow would then impact parts of the Northeast I-95 corridor Friday night through Saturday, possibly lingering into Sunday.
  • How much: For all of the above-mentioned areas, the snowfall accumulation potential will depend on a number of factors such as the timing and the exact track of this storm. This is why you should check daily to see what the latest forecast is showing for potential snowfall accumulation in your location. That said, heavy snowfall is looking increasingly likely from the Appalachians into the Mid-Atlantic States and southern New England. Over a foot of snow is possible in parts of the Appalachians and Mid-Atlantic states. Below we discuss why the forecast is uncertain.

  • If you get colds no problem, /health/2016/01/colds-no-more-2608210.html

They do amazing things I know because I use sometimes and give to others, just put one pill in bottle and add more than 80 precentage alcohol and you can give to many people.

  • that chill is going to make the big show of ships look AWESOME

  • Not worried. got food, water, flashlights,Wood Burning Stove, extra batteries 4 power cells for cell phone. it will only last about 4-5 then back to the 50′s. It will not be as bad as they think it will be.

  • Totally hilarious. We got over 18-inches of snow, followed by blizzard winds and 9-days without food shipments, all the way from New Mexico to Oklahoma, Albuquerque to Langtry to OKC, and there’s like one-article on Fox News about it. A fifth of the U.S. buried under 1-2 feet of snow, in most places that don’t even have a snow plow, dozens dead, and no news on it. A ‘big storm’ coming to the East Coast, familiar with Nor’easters, and it’s all over the news. Let 12-inches of snow fall, and it will be ‘Blizzard 2016′ with National Guard and Marines in the streets of D.C. keeping the peace.

This is the pitiful fear-reactionist nation we now live in. All hail mainstream-media.

Wake up and smell the weather manipulation compounded by the media manipulation. Give it a rest.

  • After last year..this is nothing
