Earthquake epicenter map

Magnitude 4.2 tremor rattled Sindhupalchowk at 03:13 pm Friday afternoon, Nepal Seismological Center reported.

According to the Seismological Center, this is 439th aftershock of magnitude 4 and greater recorded since 2015 Gorkha earthquake.

The earthquake epicenter was located some 58 km far from capital Kathmandu. The earthquake occurred at 10 km depth with epicenter near the popular destination “The Last Resort”.

The Last Resort is famous for the world famous bungy jump. No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.

Earlier, fresh earthquake of magnitude 4.4 rattled Humla. The epicenter was located near Selima Tso Taal.
