The Ruins at Baalbek – Aliens, the Illuminati, and the Largest Building Blocks Ever on Earth

Of all the ancient mysteries, the one that has always caused me to wonder, What If Everything I Was Ever Taught Was A Lie more than any other, has been the ruins at Baalbek. For whatever reason, of all the ancient mysteries, I’ve always personally been drawn to the ruins at Baalbek. How can one not sit in bewilderment wondering what on earth could any civilization have needed massive stone blocks weighing approximately 1,500 tons and a size of 68x14x14 feet for? They are without a doubt, the largest building blocks that have ever existed in the whole world. Our own science and engineering TODAY cannot explain them, let alone what their function was. Though it defies all logic on how it was done, some unknown culture moved these great stones, placed them on top of others, in perfect fit and alignment, before the dawn of even our most ancient of cultures… before man had even discovered the wheel. 

What caused them to pass away without leaving a clue as to who they were and to what purpose they built such a stupefying platform? Did they pass away, or did they leave? I’m sorry, but nothing, and I mean nothing, is going to convince me that before man had something as basic as the wheel, he somehow figured out how to move 1,500 ton blocks. So, that begs the question, if it wasn’t man, who was it? You don’t have many choices to pick from. In the first video, the author states, “No one, and I mean no living Human Being knows the actual date or even the age in which this structure was built however considering its estimated age and its location it can be considered part of the most ancient of all structures, most probably having been built by the original aliens that came to Earth and settled in this part of the world (these beings would be the Annunaki that are referred to and written about in the old records of Sumer (now Iraq).”

It is believed that the Baalbek’s foundation was built around 12,500 B.C. Who were the Giants? In the Bible, The Word Nephilim Has Bern Translated to Giants. The Nephilim were a race born from the “daughters of men”, and the “Sons of God”. Simply put, they were an half alien, half human race. However, “legend” has it that it was the home of the Sun god Helios who landed there with his “fire chariot”. The stories date back to the times before the flood; once again they tell stories of “giants” occupying the land.

There is also local native history that calls the platform on which all else is built, “The Landing Place.’ What landed there and when? Aliens? Fallen? The enigma deepens.

Who built Baalbek Ancient Alien

In the second video below, Randy Koppang is the guest of The Spencer Grendahl Show, and he speaks about the anomalies and evidence of high technology present in the construction of the ancient megalithic site at Baalbek, Lebanon  Randy says that despite the existence of numerous ancient artifacts and sites around the world, the prevailing views held by the those in “academia” and “science” reflect a history that deliberately understates the value of unexplainable sites around the world like Baalbek. He says that because these ancient mysteries are unexplainable, “academia” and “science” have chosen to simply not include them in their overview of mankind’s history.

John Black writes: In Lebanon, at an altitude of approximately 1,170 meters in Beqaa valley stands the famous Baalbek or known in Roman times as Heliopolis. Baalbek is an ancient site that has been used since the Bronze Age with a history of at least 9,000 years, according to evidence found during the German archaeological expedition in 1898.

Baalbek was an ancient Phoenician city that was named by the name of the sky God Baal. The name ‘Baal’ in the Phoenician language meant ‘lord’ or ‘god’. Legends abound around Baalbek with some of them mentioning that Baalbek was the place where Baal first arrived on Earth and thus ancient alien theorists suggest that the initial building was probably built as a platform to be used for sky God Baal to ‘land’ and ‘take off’.

Part of this suggestion is because Heliopolis was built on a massive platform that probably was built in pre-roman times for the initial temple or city of Baal – Baalbek. If you look at the picture it becomes obvious that different civilizations have built different parts of what is now known as Heliopolis. However beyond theories, the actual purpose of this structure as well as who has built it are completely unknown. Massive stone blocks have been used with the largest of the stones to be approximately 1,500 tons and a size of 68x14x14 feet. Those are the largest building blocks that have ever existed in the whole world.

The way that those stones were cut and moved has fascinated researchers for many years now. Because of the existence of ancient texts referring to Baalbek as a landing place the speculations about pre-existing advanced civilizations that we do not know about, as well as alien intervention, have flourished. We need to make clear that those stones are not made by the Romans as many debunkers try to propose. However even if we could hypothesize that it was Romans that did built the whole site including the platform, even Romans with their advanced technology while they could probably explain how the smaller stones of 2 to 3 tons could be cut and moved it WOULDN’T explain how they could cut and move 1,500 tons blocks.

It is possible that the platform below the Heliopolis was built as the base of another older temple that probably the Egyptians or the Romans destroyed to build Heliopolis (a name given by Alexander the Great when he conquered the area). The area was previously used also by the Egyptians to worship Ra. Which makes you wonder why they would build another temple on the same place and multiple civilizations use the same exact spot, unless that place was important for some reason. It is also interesting to mention that in Heliopolis Baal was also worshiped as well as other Greek and Roman Gods. Over the ruins of the pre-roman site a massive temple of Jupiter, the largest temple of its kind, as well as smaller temples for Venus and Mercury were built by the Romans.

The quarry that was used was situated about ¼ mile away from the area. So not only did they transfer those massive stones that distance but they also placed them together in such a precise way that not a sheet of paper can fit between the stones. That is another point that the debunkers fail to reply to – even if the stones were carried in the ways they suggest, how could they place rectangle stone blocks in such a precise way next to each other?

Another interesting point is that if the Romans/Greeks have built such a massive platform why there is no reference at all as to how that was built since it is the only place in the world (and consequently in the Roman Empire) that such a monumental work has been done.

In another context, biblical archaeologists have connected Baalbek to Baalgad that is mentioned in the Bible.

So Joshua took all that land, the hill country and all the Negeb and all the land of Goshen and the lowland and the Arabah and the hill country of Israel and its lowland from Mount Halak, which rises toward Seir, as far as Baal-gad in the Valley of Lebanon below Mount Hermon. And he captured all their kings and struck them and put them to death. Joshua 11:16-11:17

Although not all archaeologists agree with that theory, it is obvious that there are huge similarities between a) the Baal-gad, a sanctuary of Baal and b) Baalbek also a temple for Baal according to the legends (before it was named Heliopolis and new temples were built) and both in the same area in Lebanon.

In the Bible there is another name that appears related to Baal, which is Baalath, a town of the tribe of Dan, which was fortified by King Solomon in 970 BC where again Baal was worshiped with the permission of Solomon. It is worth mentioning here that even in the temple of Solomon, Baal was a deity that was allowed to be worshiped in the temple.

And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion. Chronicles 8:6

It has become obvious that Baalbek is a mysterious ancient city, used for thousands of years by many different civilizations. The Phoenicians, the Egyptians, the Greeks and the Romans all of them used it and all of them worshiped Baal. The origins are unknown and why the site was so important is also unknown. What is for sure is that the initial site wasn’t constructed by Romans, and before the Romans there was no known civilization that would have the technology to build such a massive monument. It makes sense that somehow they got the technology to do it and somehow Baal is related to that. The debunkers have not provided sufficient answers and the possibility of advanced civilizations being responsible for it, as mentioned in myths and legends, seems closer to reality.

Baalbek – A Colossal Enigma 

Gian J. Quasar writes: This article introduces and discusses new discoveries made in the colossal ruins at Baalbek, Lebanon, and the possibility they are evidence of a past super civilization or, at least, technically advanced civilization of “prehistory.”

Overview

Baalbek is the name of an archeological site in Lebanon. In Roman times it was known as Heliopolis or City of the Sun. An example of how ancient is the site can be found in that its holiest area (in pagan times) was the Temple of Baal-Jupiter — a hybrid between the ancient Canaanite god Baal (lord) and the Roman Jupiter.

Moreover, this temple was built on a “tel” or ruin mound, indicating a place that had long been held sacred, though what had caused this area to be significant or “sacred” is unknown.

How old are the ruins? 

The question is, had the Canaanites done what the Romans did? In other words, did they build upon the site as well? If so, what caused the site to be considered sacred to them?

The oldest part of the ruins at Baalbek fit absolutely no known culture, and were originally employed for some mysterious purpose.

Questions constantly crop up concerning these blocks. Baalbek may become a focal point for the dichotomy being uncovered throughout the world today between the prehistoric past we assume existed and our earliest cultures of history.

The massive and elegant Roman stonework and columns pale by comparison to the megaliths they were built upon. The temple very visibly incorporates into its foundation, stones of some 1,500 tons. They are some 68 x 14 x 14 feet! They are the largest worked stones on earth! It is a mystery how such stones could have been moved into place, even according to our science and engineering knowledge of today. It is also a fact the Romans did not use this type of stonework.

One stone left in the quarry, undressed yet. They are great, perfect rectangles.

This is a picture of the largest worked stone on earth. Some have estimated it to be 2,000 tons.

To further increase their mysterious origin and original use, these megaliths are not “foundation stones” as they are always declared. They represent the top course of stones of the original edifice, whatever that may have been. Whatever its purpose, it was essential that the greatest stones had to be on top, not on the bottom. The whole edifice is inverted in concept, fact and layout. Below them at least 3 tiers of stones can be found, much smaller though still monumental in size.

Another example that they are separate to the Roman temple, is that while the Romans built the back of their temple wall flush with 3 of these stones, on one of the sides of the temple of Jupiter the perimeter clearly falls short of the width of the original megalithic structure, allowing a tier of megaliths to protrude obtrusively from the temple foundation— incongruous if they were simply foundation stones for the Roman temple. But it seems the Romans could not extend the building far enough to cover the layout of megaliths.

Another mystery is found in the stone wall on the far or backside of the temple, that side that is the most famous in pictures because it shows the remarkable proportion of the megaliths in contrast to other stones around them.

The great stones continue on this side as well, though their substructures are still buried.

The Roman temple falls far short of these blocks, another indication they are not designed for the temple but predate it considerably.

This wall is made up of many ill-fitted stones, many of them reused from the ruined Roman temple by the Arabs, Crusaders, and Turks when the ruins were used as a fort. Some pieces of the Roman entablature can be seen, as well as slits cut into the rock for firing positions in the wall.

Because all these stones are piled one upon the other, it is clear to see an evolution of stone working. This reveals some of the stones piled upon the megaliths to be even older than Roman. These are also huge stones. Yet despite their size, they are still dwarfed by the megalithic blocks.

Extraordinary picture. This shows the famous backside of the temple. The stones of the ruined Roman temple were piled up to form a wall. There is even a column base. But see the huge stones next to the break in the wall. They are as big as the Bimini stones and cut flush with the other, rather than neat squares. This architecture, “Cyclopean,” is the oldest we know of, yet it appears sloppy and small compared to the great megaliths below them.

These cyclopean stones are certainly not Roman. The square cut Roman stones are heaped on top of them by the Arabs or Crusaders, whoever turned the ruins into a medieval fortress. Look at how small the two men are compared to the cyclopean stonework, let alone the megaliths upon which they are built. 

The Funerary Temple of Kafre at Giza, 4th dynasty (about 2500 BC). Similar to the stonework seen above, noteworthy for economical cutting and fitting of imprecise angles in the blocks, unlike the precision seen in great megaliths here.

Even this very ancient monumental wall seems later than the megaliths at Baalbek. They match some of the unascribed stones built thereon, however, possibly by later peoples or early Canaanites.

Their style is identical to the earliest cultures of monumental stone we know of like the Egyptian and the Pre-Incan Peru cultures, like those on Malta and, frankly, like those being encountered on the Bahamas Banks within the Triangle.

Excavating deeper, the other great mystery was found. Perfectly cut, though smaller, stones were found. The megaliths were not designed as the foundation of the original building, but were meant to be the top. Why? What for? The stones of the Roman temple can be seen built behind and on top of them.

This evolution in stonework is remarkable. From the small Roman and Turkish blocks, we go further down to monumental blocks identical with our earliest cultures. Yet lower than this, we come not to primitive mud bricks or shanty-hut foundations, but to the greatest stones worked by man.

They are not clumsy artifacts, crude and compromised cuts like Stonehenge. They are perfectly fitted 1,500 ton stones forming a foundation not even a huge Roman temple could encompass.

Our own science and engineering today cannot explain them, let alone what their function was. It would seem some unknown culture could move these great stones, place them on top of others, in perfect fit and alignment, before the dawn of our most ancient cultures.
