Trump Responds To Lowry’s Vulgar Comments

Rich Lowry: “Let’s be honest. Carly cut his balls off with the precision of a surgeon and he knows, he knows it.”
Megyn Kelly: “What did you just say? You can’t say that.”
Trump phoned into CNN to criticize Rich Lowry’s comments.
They have pundits on the show, I mean one of them made a total fool of himself last night. He totally lost it. I mean he was, it looked like he was having a nervous breakdown on television. But he lost it. It was wonderful watching this guy lose it because, you know, he’s a bad guy.
During a phone interview on MSNBC, Trump disagreed with Joe Scarborough’s suggestion that Lowry is a respected author of an influential magazine.
Joe Scarborough: “And you’re at war with Rich Lowry who is the editor of National Review, which is really sort of the gold-standard of conservative magazines.”
Donald Trump: “I don’t think anybody reads it, Joe. I think it has no power whatsoever, I’ll be honest. I think it has no power whatsoever. And he’s not a respected guy.”
Trump said he has the ability to fight back through social media.
You know I got this thing called Twitter and Facebook which is amazing actually. It’s like owning the New York Times without the losses.
Trump tweeted out:
“Incompetent Rich Lowry lost it tonight on Fox News. He should not be allowed on TV and the FCC should fine him!”
“Fox News owes me an apology for allowing clueless pundit Rich Lowry to use such foul language on TV. Unheard of!”
Trump told CNN that he has repeatedly objected to network coverage that does not cite his leadership in the polls.
I don’t mind being criticized. And I don’t mind it at all…If I do something wrong, Alisyn, I have very thick skin. I don’t mind being criticized. I’ll never, ever complain. I do things wrong, and when I do, I don’t mind, they can come at me 15 different ways. But when I’m right, or when I don’t deserve something, I think it’s very, very unfair to speak incorrectly. So I will correct people. I believe in that.
