(Before It's News)

On Tuesday, the American people delivered a devastating blow to the bipartisan DC establishment that refuses to listen and has completely failed us.

Donald Trump’s victory was a complete rejection of the DC establishment and there is now a mandate to drain the swamp!

Republicans in Washington would be wise now to replace the current leadership in the Senate and the House with new leaders who are truly willing to stand up to the Democrats and do what’s necessary to save our country.

You will be pleased to know that a number of conservative candidates also won in key down-ballot races across the country.

Of the 16 SCF-backed candidates who were on the general election ballot yesterday, 12 won and one is headed to a runoff election.

This is fantastic news and it wouldn’t have happened without your generous support over the past two years!

Here is the list of 13 winners:

✓ Jim Banks – IN-03 – results
✓ Andy Biggs – AZ-05 – results
✓ Rod Blum – IA-01 – results
✓ Jim Bridenstine – OK-01 – results
✓ Ted Budd – NC-13 – results
✓ Warren Davidson – OH-08 – results
✓ Ron DeSantis – FL-06 – results
✓ Tom Garrett – VA-05 – results
✓ Paul Gosar – AZ-04 – results
✓ Mike Johnson – LA-04 – results
✓ Jim Jordan – OH-04 – results
✓ Mike Lee – UT-SEN – results
✓ Mark Meadows – NC-11 – results

This is a great group of conservative leaders and I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done to make their victories possible.

The three SCF-backed candidates who lost yesterday were Dr. John Fleming(R-LA) in the Louisiana Senate race, Congressman Scott Garrett (R-NJ) in the NJ-05 House race, and retired Air Force Lt. Col. Darryl Glenn (R-CO) in the Colorado Senate race.

Sadly, Glenn was completely abandoned by the GOP establishment immediately after he was nominated even though he was the Republican nominee and was running in a winnable race.

The Colorado Senate race was very close with Glenn falling just 3 points short of defeating liberal incumbent Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) despite being badly outspent, especially in the closing days of the election.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and the GOP establishment showed themselves willing to risk the majority rather than support a strong conservative candidate like Darryl Glenn.

It’s clear now that McConnell was wrong to write this race off. There is no question that Glenn could have won it if the party had spent money in this race and had not discouraged major donors from investing in it.

THE BATTLE AHEAD

Thank you for everything you have done over the past two years to support true conservative candidates.

These principled leaders are needed now more than ever to help us secure our borders, repeal Obamacare, confirm good judges, balance the budget, and defeat radical Islamic terrorism and yes, to drain the swamp!

We have a lot of work to do and it won’t be easy.

We know that some Republicans will be eager to cut deals with the Democrats that snatch defeat from the jaws of victory so we must work together to fight for real reforms that secure America’s future.

In the coming days and weeks, we will be sharing things you can do to hold Washington accountable and to fight for conservative reforms.

Thank you for all of your support. We now have a real chance to change the direction of the country and you made it happen.
