It looks like the famous or, rather infamous, Siberian frosts may soon become a thing of the past. Why? Because the region is being warmed up by the Vasyugan swamps – the world’s largest, covering an area of more than 50,000 square kilometers. Experts at the institute of climate and environmental monitoring say that the swamps play a big role in making the Siberian climate better suited for humans.
