Dark Grey Variant of Mi 4i Launched, First Sale on June 16
After Redmi 2, leading smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched the dark grey avatar for Mi 4i in Indian market. Following the massive success of white variant, the grey version of this feature-rich smartphone is set to roll via company’s official website. The first flash sale is scheduled for June 16, 2PM, and registrations are currently open till 15th of June.
Just like the white variant, grey colored Mi 4i also holds the same price tag of Rs.12,999. In terms of design and looks, it’s completely identical to the white one, and sports a full HD screen of 5-inches. This is the first time when Xiaomi is selling a smartphone with its own website. Few weeks ago, the grey color variant of Redmi 2 was also introduced exclusively via Snapdeal. But, up till now, only accessories were being sold to the customers via official website. Flipkart has been the prime seller for the company by offering all Xiaomi smartphones including the white Mi 4i.
To recall, Xiaomi Mi 4i packs a nice set of specifications. The display of the smartphone is protected by Corning OGS glass, and under the hood, it has been powered by the second-generation Snapdragon 615 chipset built-on 64-bit architecture, Adreno 405, and 2GB RAM. The inbuilt storage on this device is limited to 16 gigs, and cannot be expanded via external microSD card. However, the 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony/Samsung sensor is one of the biggest highlights of this device. It takes excellent pictures under daylight and lowlight conditions, and also features a front-facing snapper with 5-megapixel sensor.
With LTE connectivity on both sim slots and standard support with Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, OTG, and MircoUSB, Mi 4i offers a perfect package for all users. The device has been backed by a gigantic battery of 3120mAh, and runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop right-out-of the box.
Originally, major heating issues were witnessed as a key problem with this device, but the recent update pushed by Xiaomi managed everything adequately. Till now, Mi 4i has been one of the best phones under 15k, and with the added touch of Grey color, its market value will be going a whole lot higher.
