Another edition of Micromax’s budget oriented “Fire” series, Canvas Fire 3 is now available online. The phone has been officially listed on company’s website, and is also available with a third-party online seller. Till now, there has been no update regarding the launch of this device by Micromax.
Talking about specifications, Micromax Canvas Fire 3 sports a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, and has been powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset from MediaTek (MT6582M) and 1GB RAM. The rear camera of this device is a 5MP shooter with autofocus and LED flash capabilities, and front-facing snapper is a standard 2-megapixel shooter. With Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the box, the dual-sim smartphone packs 8 gigs of inbuilt storage. Storage on this device also expandable up to 32GB through external microSD card.
On the connectivity front, Canvas Fire 3 has been equipped with a rich set of options including, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GP, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth support. It packs a rich of set sensors like, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and accelerometer, and is backed by a long-lasting battery of 1850mAh. Batter of this device is really good, and can easily deliver 7 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time
However, the main highlight of this device is its metallic finish complimented with dual-front speakers capable of delivering excellent music experience. With this device, you’ll also get typical Micromax bloatware with some useful apps like Opera Mini, Swift Key, Clean Master, Hike, and Trurecaller.
Few days back, Micromax also launched Canvas Knight 2 with improved hardware and 4G capabilities at a price of Rs. 16,299. Running Android Lollipop out-of-the box, Canvas Knight 2 is the first 4G LTE smartphone from the company.
