After a long wait, Android 5.0 lollipop is officially rolling for Lenovo Vibe X2 in India. The OTA update rolling for this device will not only bring material design elements, but will also add a rich set of improvements in Lenovo’s own VibeUI skin over the top. The update sizes around 1.1GB and is sure to bring a nice upgrade to the entire look and feel of the device.
The update focuses on core android experience, and offers battery enhancement features, new notification tray, Material design elements and much more. The multilayered smartphone was launched last year in the month of November, and since then it has been running Android 4.4 KitKat with old UI. Users with Vibe X2 will automatically get a notification regarding the new updating featuring Android Lollipop.
On the specifications front, Vibe X2 has been one of the best smartphone from Lenovo featuring a 5-inch full HD display powered by 2GB RAM and a true octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at a speed of 2GHz. The device packs 32GB of inbuilt storage, and is also backed by a long-lasting battery of 2300mAh.
Weighting around 120 grams, Vibe X2 measures 140.2 x 68.6 x 7.3 mm. It sports a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and is available in 4 color variants, White, Gold, Red and Charcoal. The device was launched exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 19,999, but its price went down drastically to Rs. 15,999.
Android Lollipop right after unboxing will definitely increase value of this device. But, as of now, people using this device will be getting update notification anytime soon!
