The renowned smartphone maker HTC has unveiled HTC ME One smartphone for the Chinese market. The price, availability and global release of this device has not been highlighted by the company, but definitely looks like a nice high-end smartphone with excellent hardware support. The dual-sim smartphone has been powered by the latest 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 chipset launched at MWC 2015.
Being the first smartphone powered by Helio X10 processor, HTC One ME packs Cortex-A53 cores clocked at a speed of 2.2GHz and 3GB of RAM. It also boasts a 5.2-inch WQHD display, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop right out-of-the box with Sense UI on the top. The version of Sense UI has not been mentioned, but it’s expected come with the latest and upgraded version only.
The rear camera of One ME is a 20 megapixel shooter packed with BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture, and front-facing camera is a 4-ultrapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. And, just like HTC One M9, the inbuilt storage equipped with this device is 32 gigs, and is expandable up to 2TB via external microSD card.
On the connectivity front, HTC One ME offers standard support with Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Dual Band Wi-Fi, MicroUSB, and NFC connectivity. The 4G-enabled device also comes with a handful of sensors including, fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass, and gyroscope. Boomsound Audio speakers powered by Dolby Audio is one of the main highlights of this feature-rich HTC smartphone.
HTC ME Dual features an excellent combo of high-end specs and great looks. It weighs around 155 grams, and will roll in Meteor Grey, Gold Sepia, and Rose Gold color variants. In addition to this, a long-lasting battery of 2840mAh also backs the performance of this device and gives sufficient juice on 2G, 3G and 4G networks. As of now, there is no word on the global release of this device, but most probably it will be a limited release from HTC.
