Meizu, the leading Chinese smartphone vendor has launched M2 Note smartphone. Featuring as the successor of Meizu M1 Note, M2 note will come in two storage variants of 16 gigs and 32 gigs priced at CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 8,250) and CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,300). The device will hit the shelves this Tuesday, and will also be available at Meizu’s official website and other online retail partners of the company.
On the specifications front, Meizu m2 note looks like an upgraded version of the original Meizu m1 note. The device packs a vibrant full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IGZO display of 5.5-inches, and has been powered by an octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz. The device has also been equipped with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and an upgraded MediaTek MT6753 chipet compared to the one featured with m1 note. With 16GB and 32GB storage variants, the dual-sim smartphone offers expandable storage up to 128 via microSD card, and features a hybrid micro sim slot too.
Coming towards operating efficiency, Meizu m2 note runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the box with Meizu’s own Flyme OS on the top. The device boasts a 13MP rear camera with five-element f/2.2 lens, dual-LED flash, Blue Glass IR filter, and a 5MP front-facing camera featuring f/2.0 lens and wide angle capabilities. Connectivity on this device includes all standard options with 2G, 3G, LTE (4G), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 support.
Measuring 150.9×75.2×8.7mm, Meizu m2 note weighs around 149 grams, and packs a long-lasting battery of 3100mAh for decent backup on 2G, 3G and 4G networks. Starting Tuesday, this device will roll in a rich set of colors including Pink, Blue, Grey, as well as White. The classy design of this smartphone is perfectly complimented with a less fiddly physical button featured on the front panel just like in all Samsung smartphones.
