Intex Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong Launched in India
In the budget segment, Intex has offered a rich set of smartphones with standard features for routine usage. And now, the Aqua series of the company with several smartphones has gone bigger with two new smartphones, Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G strong. Featuring decent specs, both of these smartphones have been launched at a reasonable price point, and come in brush metal finish in Black, Champaign, and silver colour variants.
Talking about specs, Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong are almost identical to each other. The RAM and flash memory of these devices varies, but all other features are completely similar. The price of Aqua 3G Pro is Rs. 3,666 while Aqua 3G Strong has been priced at Rs. 3,333. Both smartphones give a nice look, and run Android 4.4.2 KitKat right-of-the box. They sport a 4-inch WVGA display powered with a single-core processor of 1GHz, and also boast a rear and front-facing camera of 2 and 0.3 megapixels.
The point of difference between Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong is RAM and inbuilt storage. The expensive one packs 512MB RAM with 4GB of inbuilt storage, while the other one packs 256MB RAM and 512MB of internal storage. Storage options on both of these devices are expandable up to 32 gigs via external microSD card.
When it comes connectivity, both of these devices offer standard connectivity support with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and HSDPA/3G, and are backed with a long-lasting Lithium-ion battery of 1400mAh. Several useful applications like Opera Mini, Newshunt, Housing, and ASKME are also equipped with the smartphones for better usage experience.
At the launch event, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head from Intex Technologies highlighted the fact Intex is looking to offer a perfect combination of economically attractive and technically luring devices. The stunning brush metal finish and gorilla glass 3 protection in both devices is one of the biggest factors which enhance their value for money in the budget arena.
Compared to other smartphones, available at this price point, Intex Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong look like a real winner in terms of build quality, design and overall value for money.
