Samsung Launches Galaxy Core Prime 4G for Rs. 9,999 in India
The leading smartphone vendor Samsung has launched 4G enabled Galaxy Core Prime in India. Announced in the month of February, Galaxy Core Prime 4G was scheduled to be launched in March, but got delayed, and rolled out in the month of May! According to reports, the LTE enabled smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,999, and will come with several offers packed by the company itself.
Different offers packed with the device will include 3GB of 4G data on Airtel, Hungama subscription for 3 months, and Vuclip subscription for 3 months. It’s also worth noting that the device has not been listed on the official Samsung India e-store
Just like the 3G variant, 4G enabled Galaxy Core Prime sports a 4.5-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1 gigs of RAM. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the box, and boasts 8GB inbuilt storage for apps and other files. Storage options on the dual-sim smartphone are also expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The rear camera of this device is a 5MP shooter, while the front-facing camera is a 2MP shooter.
Sports matte body combined metal finish gives a premium look to Galaxy Core Prime 4G. It measures 131.3×68.4×8.8mm, and will be available in several color options including, Charcoal Grey, Silver and White. Connectivity options on this dual-sim device include, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, NFC, Glonass, A-GPS, Bluetooth, and of course 4G LTE. A long-lasting battery of 2000mAh backs the performance of this device with sufficient backup on routine usage.
In the month of February, Galaxy Core Prime 4G was launched with two other smartphones, Galaxy Grand Prime 4G and Galaxy J1 4G. And last month, Grand Neo Plus smartphone was also launched at the same price tag. Samsung smartphones have worked out really well in the Indian smartphone industry. And now, with added 4G support, Samsung budget smartphones are sure to offer added functionality and a rich experience at an excellent price point!
