Budget Smartphone Intex Aqua Y2 Power Launched With Mammoth Battery Support
In the budget segment, popular smartphone maker Intex has launched Aqua Y2 Power smartphone, and has listed it officially at a price tag of Rs. 4,490. As of now, the company hasn’t revealed any details about the official availability of this device. But, looks like, an announcement about official roll out will be coming in next few days. Aqua Y2 Power houses a big battery of 2900mAh, and looks like a tough competitor for players like, Canvas Juice 2 and Lava Iris Fuel 50 offering the same battery backup, but at a higher price tag.
The new Aqua Y2 Power boasts a nice set of specs, and features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display, powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz with 512MB of RAM. It runs the recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the box, and packs 4GB of built-in-storage, offering expandability by up to 32 gigs via external microSD card.
In terms of camera capabilities, Intex Aqua Y2 Power features a decent photography experience with its 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. As mentioned before, the massive battery of 2900mAh packed inside Aqua Y2 Power serves as the biggest highlight. This phone is extremely powerful, and can easily give up to 20 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time. Aqua Y2 Power measures 126x64x10.5mm in dimension, weighs around 133 grams, and will hitting the shelves in Blue, Black, and White color options.
