Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition Unveiled Ahead Of MWC 2016
Once again, Meizu has launched an Ubuntu based smartphone by teaming up with Canonical. After Meizu MX4, the Chinese tech-giant has unleashed Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition with an excellent set of hardware and software specs. According to Canonical, the new smartphone will be up for pre-orders during the MWC 2016 trade-show, during which, its pricing and availability will also be revealed by the company.
Just like Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition, the Ubuntu variant of Meizu Pro 5 looks exactly similar to the original Meizu Pro 5, which was launched in September last year. The features top-notch specs with an all metal body, but runs Ubuntu OS out-of-the box, instead of commonly seen and used Android 5.1 Lollipop!

Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition seeks design cues from previous Meizu smartphones, and flaunts a nice look and feel with metal body and physical home-button on the front-panel. The handset looks stunning from all angles, and sports a 5.7-inch full HD retuned delta-cool AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
