Samsung has announced that its Windows 10 based tablet, Galaxy TabPro S will be available in India starting from April or May. The company made this announcement at the Samsung Forum Event in Kuala Lumpur, but did not reveal pricing details for the product!
To recall, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S was unveiled at CES 2016, and is a straight-fit competitor for the powerful Google Pixel C, iPad Pro, and Surface Pro 4. At the CES, the company tipped that the 2-in-1 device will go on sale in launch markets starting from February, but even then it did not reveal anything about the pricing of the device for Indian buyers.
The impressive Samsung Galaxy TabPro S packs top-tier specs, and ships with an option of Windows 10 Pro or Home out-of-the box. The power-packed 2-in-1 machine flaunts a stunning form-factor and incorporates a razor sharp 12-inch AMOLED display with a whopping screen resolution of 2160 x 1440. It packs an exquisite visual experience, and powers up by Intel’s latest Core m3 processor and 4GB of RAM!
The storage options for Samsung Galaxy TabPro S includes 128GB and 256GB SSD variants. It brings sufficient room for seamless work and play, and also includes a 5-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing sapper for slick photography even in lowlight environments. The camera setup of the device is enriched with a bunch of in-app features from Samsung and a powerful 5200 mAh battery offering enormous juice for long-lasting performance.
Moreover, on-the-connectivity front, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S stands out in the category, and boasts a bunch of options such as, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, 3G HSPA+, NFC, GPRS/EDGE, and microUSB 2.0. The LTE version of the tablet includes Cat 6 based 4G LTE technology, and offers blazing download and upload speeds without any snags or lags. It is also worth noting that under the microUSB 2.0 port, the tablet also incorporates a USB Type-C reversible connector for two-way charging.
On-paper, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S measures at 290.3 x 198.8 x 6.3mm and weighs 693 grams. It flaunts an excellent design language, and can be bundled with additional accessories like a detachable keyboard or a digital pen. All of them improve performance of the device, but you’ll have to pay for them separately.
