Lava A52 Dual SIM Smartphone Launched At Rs. 3,599
Lava, India’s famous phone maker, continues to expand its budget phone line-up with new and impressive smartphones. This time, the renowned tech giant has unveiled Lava A52 dual-SIM based phone priced just at Rs. 3,599. The new beauty from the company has been listed on its official website, but as of now, there’s no word on its official availability in the country. However, as per the speculations going around, we expect the phone to show up by the end of March 2016.

As for specs and performance, Lava A52 looks like a decent candidate to cater budget phone lovers. The handset bears a standard plastic body, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the box, and sports a good-looking 4-incher display with a tempting screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It offers a nice visual experience with rich colours and perfect viewing angles, and promises top-notch performance with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 512 MB RAM. The inbuilt storage bundled with the phone is 4 gigs, but there’s also an option to expand it up to 32GB via snapping in a micro-SD card.
The camera setup equipped with Lava A52 is also pretty impressive, at least for this price. The handset brings a 2-megapixel rear fixed focus camera with LED flash, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. It packs a strong punch against other entry level players, and manages sharp and colour rich images with minimal noise and distortion.
In addition to this, on the connectivity side, Lava A52 provides standard support with all essential options including Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G HSPA+, and micro-USB 2.0. It tips on the scale at 10.1mm, and is likely to the shelves in Black and White colour options. In our opinion, the dual SIM phone looks like a decent package but lack of 4G connectivity and a weak 1200 mAh battery are few matters of concern for us.
Lava A52 has shown up just after the official introduction of Lava Flair S1 priced at Rs. 3,799. The handset sports very similar specs with Android 5.1 Lollipop and a metal-like finish on the back panel. Though Flair S1 is slightly expensive, the handset makes a great impression with better display, camera, and battery.
