GoodBox App Review- Shop from Multiple Vendors
The evolvement of smartphone technology has been a game changer for all us. An app for everything is making our routine life easier, and is giving a perfect platform to explore our things of interest at the touch of a button. Food, groceries, apparel or movie-tickets, there’s an app for everything and a non-cash payment wallet to pay easily. It’s all like a digital world where you go and live by your smartphone! But what if all those utility based vendors go into a single and unified application? Your phone will have less apps, and choosing and hiring services will be easier and quicker than ever! That’s exactly what GoodBox has on offer. The new hyperlocal multi-vendor app not only enables you to shop from different businesses, but also includes an option to chat with them. It makes shopping easy and hassle-free without compromising on the personal touch between buyer and vendor!
We tried and tested this app for a few days, and these were our results:
Look and Feel of the App
GoodBox offers a nice and easy-to-use interface with “Chat” and “Explore” tabs on the home-screen. The app makes use of material design concept with a mix of red and white, and features a number of categories to choose your preferred area of interest. On the explore tab, you can slide into different categories (food, laundry, groceries, vegetables, chemists, restaurants), and can pick a vendor from the listing under each category. There’s also a separate option where you can directly browse through brands offering a variety of services. As soon as you’ll pick a vendor, a WhatsApp like chat box with three different tabs, one for direct-chat, one for orders, and one for available offers will show-up. From there you can get in touch with the vendor, place an order, and can keep a track thereof.
In addition to this, the top-right corner of the screen includes options for tracking payment history, managing wallets, updating profile, or creating a new business.
Working of GoodBox
Using GoodBox is a real treat for on-the-go shoppers. The app works smoothly, even with multiple apps running in background, and offers an ideal ecosystem to shop from different vendors in your locality. As we mentioned earlier, it offers a long list of vendors with an option to get in touch them via chat option. The drill is simple, you have to select a vendor, ping him the product you need, and select the payment option with delivery details. Once the order is confirmed by the seller, he’ll make the delivery within 24 hours from placing the order. The vendors also accept return within 7 days from the date of delivery.
It is also important to note that if by any chance, a vendor is not responding to your message, you can set a GoodBox for that vendor, so that he can get in touch with you as soon as possible.
Payment Option
As for payment, GoodBox accepts both, prepaid and cash on delivery options. For prepaid orders, you’ll have to connect the Mobikwik account associated with your registered mobile number and make the payment from available Wallet balance. The company has also announced that it will expand its payment options by acquiring SmartPocket, a loyalty card based mobile wallet solution!
The offer section of the app also includes several discounts and cashbacks for payment via Mobikwik wallet.
To sum up, the entire concept of bringing multiple vendors on to a single platform and saving users with excess trouble of having different apps is just amazing. We really like how this app works, but few more improvements and expansion towards other parts of the country will make it even better and interactive!
