After unleashing Elite and Elite 2, Swipe Technologies has made jump into the big-screen segment. The company has unveiled a new entry-level player, Swipe Elite Note with a perfect mix of good looks and high-end innards. The device has been launched exclusively via Flipkart, and is currently up for grabs at just Rs. 7,999.
Packed with a number of features, Swipe Elite Note is a one-of-a-kind device. It unifies a magnesium alloy body with OnePlus inspired Sandstone back, and looks fairly unique and attractive. Though its hefty weight can be a small matter of concern, we do not see any other issue that affects the premium feel of this device.
Swipe Elite Note Hardware
On the hardware front, Swipe Elite Note holds the best possible configuration for the price. The device sports a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display, and comes protected with Dragontrail Glass on the top. It endows lifelike visuals even in broad sunlight, and is smoothly supported by a quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor running at 1.3GHz. This chipset pairs up with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, and creates a perfect ecosystem for seamless work and play. The company has also given support for expandability up to 32GB, using a microSD card!
Apart from this, it is also important to note that Swipe Elite Note runs its own Android Lollipop based Freedom OS out-of-the box. It includes a bunch of new features and a much improved camera app which delivers sharp and crisp images in all environments. The main camera includes a 13-megapixel sensor with LED flash, while the front-facing snapper makes use of a 5-megapixel sensor. They both work terrifically well and outperform most phones in the budget segment!
As for connectivity, Swipe Elite Note brings something which we don’t see on every smartphone. The device features an IR Blaster, which can be utilized to control a plethora of electronics, such as your Television, Air-Condition or Set-Top Box. Other connectivity elements on this phone include 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, some commonly seen sensors, and a big 3000 mAh battery.
This phablet is available in Deep Black, and is going against the likes of leading giants, Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo Vibe K4 Note.
